Im still playing at BWIn and its going better than on pokerstars, but BWIn turbos are 3 minutes so blinds are coming fast and sometimes luck is more important than skill. But i had some pro moves today, will post them in pro section, so you see how to play in those high blinds stages.
So today i made 39$ in 22 tournaments. Not bad, but it could be better.
As you maybe noticed, i hate high blind limpers, once blinds get to 75/150, you better dont limp without rockets or i will push you and bad beat you if needed. So this time my fish escape, he limped under the gun, im in SB with pocket 99, what do i do? PUSH! 2 more limpers joined the first limper and now rule aplys, if first limper dont have rockets then second and third sure dont have other way if they do have, they will raise. UTG limper calls me and i was afraid that he have rockets, but he show A( suited and won as 33% dog.
Well even if your playing every day over 20 tournaments and are money making player, sometimes your brain power goes out, so in this tournament my brain was out of power and i dont know why i try to resteal on small blinds with 82 suited. Ofcourse i got called but why i did it i dont know. As you noticed i always have reason to play some hand, but its obvious i made mistake here.
Trying to steal from a guy on the button with A9 offsuited, blinds are 25/50. 3x standard steal attempt. Fish call me, flop is KT2, he checks and trap me, doh im 100% sure he didnt know what the hell is he doing, but everything went good for him. He had K5, i have C-bet the flop and he call me, smooth. I was thinking that maybe he hunts flush so i went all in and he calls me with K5. I have play good, i could hit Ace on the river and win, and 50% of the time fish will be on a draw and you will win, or they will fold.
Standard race, TT vs AK offsuit, CO raise on 600, i push all my 2.1k, he calls. I was 56% favorite and im sure someone out there drop king or ace, or both. Because fish have hit flush! On turn i was 63% favorite.
Blinds are high and im with 66, devils hand, shortstack with 855 went all in, i call with 1k. Nobody joins. He had KT suited, on flop i was 45% favorite, but he hit a straight.
Im again with pocket tens, i push, but button holds JJ which cant be folded and calls, SB joins with suited AK. I was huge dog so i lost.
Fish think that he can steal on button with min raise, ofcourse not fish, i went all in with KQ suited. Blinds are 100/200+ante 20. He call me with J5 suited and won as 34% dog.
Im holding pocket jacks cut off +1 position and push, CO calls me with AQ and hits. I lost as 57% favorite.
Fish push UTG with q6 suited and i have call with 95 offsuited as BB, hes stack is 1k, my is 3.3k and i need to call just 600, because blinds are high 200/400, he won. this is pro play, many fishes will drop 95 which is wrong. I was only 35% dog. But the later loose-passive player aka mega fish limps on this high blinds and im with decent hand K8 suited, ofcourse i push over him. He calls and show me AK suited, he is very bad player but this time he won.
Im pushing in a limper, another mega fish, im with JJ, but he holds QQ.
Villains let me see flop with T3 offsuited and i hit 2 pairs, blinds are 25/50. I bet a pot and few more bucks. But guy with AT calls, i push on turn but he hits ace on river. On flop i was 80% favorite.
I hate high blind limpers and i hate SB limpers on high blinds, so i push with 93 offsuit but he holds A5 offsuite, good hand for him to push and steal my blind, i will sure fold, but he limps and i smell weakness so i attack and hope he folds, but hes too weak player to fold hes weak hand.
Blinds are high im UTG with 93 suited and i push, well i could let blinds hit me, but i will be mega short stack then, so instead i push blind. 2 guys call me and i lost.
Huge blinds, got hit by blind, im short stack, i play it bad, i should push before i drop to 2x blinds stack, so i call another shortstack with 106 offsuited and i lost. This was my worst tournament today. I let my self blinded out.
